The South Creek Foxhounds Hunter Trials is an annual event that is open to all English riders, non-hunt members, South Creek Members and members of other hunts, with classes for just about everyone, even a leadline class!
The goal of the Hunter Trials is to demonstrate your horse’s suitability for the hunt field. Horses are judged at each obstacle based on their form and style of jumping, their manners, way of going, and their obedience and efficient execution of class tests. Jumping riders will compete over a variety of natural and hunter style jumps.
The Hunter Trials is used to raise money for the maintenance of the hunt fixtures and the care of the hounds. Join us on horseback or on foot to support your fellow riders. If you are unable to attend our Hunter Trials, please consider making a donation in your absence.
